Notable Connection: Rabbi Stuhl occupied one of the most prestigious pulpits in the Baltic states, a position previously held by the legendary Rabbi Abraham Isaac Kook (הראי"ה קוק). As the last person to serve as the Rabbi of Bauska (Boisk) before its destruction, his documents are rare and poignant artifacts of a community that perished in the Holocaust.
