Description

A rare 18th-century bilingual edition of Sefer Pirkei Avot (Book of Ethics of the Fathers). This volume features the Hebrew text alongside a parallel Italian translation and commentary titled Trattato Morale. Housed in original marbled "comb" pattern covers with an aged leather spine featuring a hand-applied label "31" and pink-dyed endpapers. Dimensions: Approx. 13.5 cm x 9.5 cm.

Aged, yellowed paper with typical foxing. Notable rectangular corner loss on the front pink endpaper. Significant condition detail: Several interior pages (specifically Chapter 6) contain heavy, historical pen markings, scribbles, and annotations over the text.
