  • The Sender: Rabbi Abraham Arye Rosen was the Rabbi of Fălticeni (Paltishan), Romania, and a major halakhic figure known for his monumental responsa work "Eitan Arye" (איתן אריה).
  • Family Legacy: Notably, he was the father and primary teacher of Rabbi Moses (David Moshe) Rosen, who served as the Chief Rabbi of Romania for over four decades (1948–1994) and was the preeminent leader of Romanian Jewry during the Communist era.
